About Biological Wastewater Treatment GENERAL INFORMATION Biological wastewater treatment systems are used to ensure that wastewater generated by domestic or industrial use, which typically contains high amounts of organic matter, is discharged in accordance with the receiving environment standards. Biological wastewater treatment systems can be designed in various models and sizes, either as package-type or reinforced concrete wastewater treatment plants, depending on the analysis values of the wastewater to be treated, daily and hourly wastewater volumes, effluent quality values, desired recovery values, and the environmental factors of the installation site. Our biological wastewater treatment plants are preferred over other systems due to their advantages, such as quiet operation, odor-free operation, low maintenance and repair requirements without the need for constant staffing, and the ability to produce water suitable for irrigation or secondary quality use.
