IRON MANGANESE FILTRATION SYSTEM

Iron and manganese filtration system is a purification system designed to remove iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) ions that are naturally present in water and cause various problems. These minerals can impair the color, taste and odor of water, and accumulate in pipelines and residues. The system generally provides iron and manganese-free water using the principles of oxidation and filtration.

Birm: Regeneration is not required, but it is recommended to change the media every 3-5 years depending on its performance. Pyrolusite: It has a long life but should be checked frequently in high temperature waters. Backwash: Should be done weekly or when needed. Accumulated iron and manganese in the filter media are removed during backwash. Oxidation Unit Maintenance: Chemical temperature systems (e.g. chlorine) should be added regularly as chemicals. Ventilation systems air pump control should be done. Pressure Control: It should be checked regularly to ensure filter filling and continuity. Sealing Elements Control: Contactor and connection points should be checked during maintenance.
